TCS Muzzleloader Barrel Cleaning Patch Jag – .50ML
TCS 50 caliber patch jag is designed specifically for cleaning .50 quotient muzzleloader barrels. These .fifty cal cleaning jags should only be used in guns with removable breech plugs. They may work in other muzzleloaders, but it is sometimes difficult to reverse management with this jag, especially if the barrel is crude or pitted, and this makes it difficult or impossible to remove this jag from a muzzleloader that does not have a removable breech plug.
These patch jags printing a patch that has been treated with solvent or bore paste against the butt and into the rifling to mechanically strip the carbon, plastic, and copper out of the bore. Note: Two versions of this jag were produced. Due to machining and tooling considerations, the design was changed from aluminum to brass, and the torso of the jag was tapered.
